Play Holi - A Colorful Festival in India

Any culture in the world has some uniqueness, which is what makes traveling aboard eye-opening. However, the experience of witnessing the uniqueness of a different culture may often make those outsiders wonder whether they have landed on an entirely different planet.

That’s how I felt today, the Holi Day of India. In India, Holi is celebrated with great pomp and show. This festival is a celebration of the conquest of goodness over evil. A colorful festival of India. However, I somehow felt that today is the day when the entire India is going nuts, wrestling on the street, throwing color-power-bombs at each other and even strangers, wearing shirts dyed with layers of holy colors. It’s a day I feel liking having a long and thorough shower by merely watching people on the street.
