Garden Route Day 2 - The Cango Caves

Many places in the Western Cape wowed me. South Africa is simply a stunning place filled with nature beauties and wonders. One of them is the Cango Caves.

The Cango Caves are located in Precambrian limestones at the foothills of the Swartberg range in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. The principal cave is one of the country's finest, best known and most popular tourist caves and attracts many visitors from overseas.

The Cango Caves is one of the worlds great natural wonders, sculptured by nature through the ages - fascinating limestone formations in a wide variety of colours. An underground wonder world

The present tourist route extends for 1,2km into the cave, with a further 4,1km being kept closed to the public for conservation reasons.

Quite hot and humid inside.
