  1. Thanks for the invitation, here, to your webpage. This looks like Marsha's page, but I was invited by Bing. Mely and I really enjoyed meeting and spending time with you, both. Looks like Marsha has done some extensive traveling. We have thought about traveling to China, too. This all looks very enchanting and plain exciting. Marsha, it looks like you are very Professional, as a photographer. Your photos tell a story and are very detailed. Also, your webpage is well organized. I enjoyed your work. Thanks!

  2. I enjoyed your pictures of your trip to China. Mely and I have thought about going to China, but haven't yet got to a point where we felt comfortable doing it. It looks like a huge country, back in time. Traveling, would probably be like going to another time zone. I would think that the people would be friendly, too. But, if one cannot speak Chinese, would this be a big problem? Also, will the Chinese Government allow Americans to travel freely or is there a fixed itinerary one must follow? How about transportation from one city to another? Should travelers rent a car or hire a guide?

  3. Don, Thanks for the encouraging words. I do try to tell a stories from my pictures if I could. Or at least, I pretend to do so. :) Traveling in China as a foreigner could be fun, interesting, a whole-new-different experience. Yes, you are allowed to go freely everywhere. You don't need a guide, if you go to a big cities like ShangHai, Beijing, etc. A local guide might help if you go to small places. You don't need a guide if you go to any of the places in China I mentioned in my blog. Plenty of people there speak English. You don't need fixed itinerary. It's just like visiting another place in the US. The easiest transportation is by flight. Hiring a taxi for a short-distance is also very convenient. Let me know which of the cities you like the most. I can provide more information.
